Dining Out in the Metropolitan Area

You will be happy to know that Puerto Rico is a very interesting place for dining out, especially in the Metropolitan Area. With a large number of haute cuisine restaurants, this place offers a great variety of ethnic and fusion alternatives.

Old San Juan and Condado are the most prolific neighborhoods in terms of high end restaurants, while Hato Rey and Guaynabo also hold interesting options. Following you will find a list of my preferred ones:

Tierra del Fuego, Morton’s, Ummo, Ruth’s Chris, Caminito (meat)
El Alcazar, Pelayo,Toro Salao (Spaniard)
Pikayo, Perurrican (Puertorrican)
Budatai, Orange Blossom, Yum Yum Tree, Good Four Seasons (Asian)
Il Perugino (Italian) – lovely!

I would rate Budatai and Il Perugino as great!!!, you should not miss any of both.

You will find detailed useful information about this subject in the web site of Sal! http://www.sal.pr/

I hope you will enjoy dining in this wonderful island.
